Community Connections

Chandler Public Library reaches out all year! While many of our resources and services are provided in our buildings, Chandler Library has a vibrant outreach mission, meeting the community where they are in fun and creative ways. Since the beginning of 2023, outreach teams have engaged nearly 22,000 people around our community.

Chandler Library brings awareness to our resources and services at City events, schools and a variety of community activities. We provide pop-up library offerings. We bring stories, STEAM programs and other fun activities to school children, community organizations and to our Public Housing neighborhoods. We can make library cards and provide technical support with digital resources. We provide the school readiness series Ready, Set, Kindergarten! as an outreach to local non-profits with underserved populations. In the cooler months, caregivers can bring children to a special storytime at the Downtown Farmer's Market. Our Teen Services staff enjoy reaching out to high school students as well.

Learn more about library outreach and make a request for your school or organization.
